We fell in love with this vintage Diane Freis Silk Dress when we first saw it! Just the fabric alone is spectacular and the open lattice work in the back makes it so spectacular!

This fabulous vintage dress is 100% Silk and is made in a burnout velvet abstract watercolor pattern fabric with metallic accents. There are pretty 3/4 length sheer sleeves with cinched cuffs and a slightly v shaped wide yoke at the waist. The lining is a fine magenta silk and the skirt portion is pleated. The waist has a thick elastic shirred band and there are shoulder pads for structure.

The top of the neckline in back has 3 buttons for closure. The vibrant colors in this dress are shades of: purple, magenta, orange, violet, blue, pink, maroon, lavender, and metallic gold. The dress has many of the elements that make Diane Freis dresses so wonderful, including an elastic waistband and blousy fit to accommodates a range of sizes. Can be worn during the day or evening.
